I recently found out that I’m unexpectedly pregnant, after experiencing a missed miscarriage in January that required a D&C. I’m feeling stressed because my due date falls during the same week that my entire family has planned a big vacation, which we’ve already paid for. I’m torn about what to do—should I cancel my portion and risk going into labor while everyone is away, or should my husband stay back with me? Our two boys would be cared for by both sets of grandparents, who are also going on the trip. I feel like both sets of parents are going to be mad at me for this - but we really weren’t trying. It feels so silly to be stressed about a vacation.
