Hi all, I did a quick search and didnt see this, so hopefully its not just a repeat question

I'm between jobs rn, sending out apps etc

I'm from rural eastern Washington, so i'm not actually sure what options there are to make money on the west side between work

Is delivery actually worth it with the gas prices rn? Instacart/Doordaah etc?

Is there other stuff safe to do for fems? I considered cat sitting etc

Basically needs some idea / suggestions on ways to stay afloat while I wait for job responses 🙏 not at risk of losing housing, but need a way to keep up like food and cat litter

Any answers much appreciated! Asking bc on the east side it's just not very feasible to come up with small daily ways to make safe income, but I've heard it can actually be possible here

I was wanting to ask those working in the pet field (vets, groomers, daycare, etc) how safe it is to do these jobs when you have pets at home?

I have three kitties at home (16, 10, 8) whom I love more than life itself.

One is elderly and one of them has FIV.

I have been considering doing some work as a secretary, or pet sitter, pet groomer, etc. Something involving working with animals and kitties... but i'm nervous.

How likely is it to bring something home?

Is this an issue vets have often?

My kitties also have the feline herpes virus, so I know that if I went to work I would certainly be lysoling myself down and making sure I don't get any other kitties sick.

I love kitties, clearly, and have a lot of experience raising kittens, giving medicine, taking wild cats, etc. I think I could do some good work as a kitty daycare worker, or groomer, or in a vet practice.

Would it perhaps be adequate to change at work upon arrival and before going home, with an adequate lysoling and washing of hands?

Any advice is appreciated!
