I'm able to influence my dreams to some extent if I really need an answer.
I'd been having trouble with this friend for a while now — and I'm talking 4-5 years. About every year, she decides to start having issues with me or my other friend, and now she's picked me. Earlier this year, she'd picked my friend. However, she recently sent me a numbered list about reasons why she doesn't like me. I told her, "It's ok if you don't want to be friends with me anymore. You don't need to keep yourself in a friendship where you don't feel valued." She then told my other friend behind my back, that I had told her to "leave if she's so upset about it".
She'd told me to tell nobody about our argument (that "arguement" being her sending that text about why she doesn't like me). However, she herself told 2 people.
So, that brings us up to the dream. I'd asked, "What are her true intentions?" (Her, but with her full name.)
Throughout the dream, there was a few scenes of family issues. After that, nearing as I was going to wake up, I was shown a lyre. It was a golden at the base lyre. In regular spiritual meanings to a lyre, it represents creativity, harmony and such. However to my personal dictionary, it means a liar. Lyre and liar are pronounced exactly the same and it's been the first thing I recognize.
From my perception of this, I have a few things I think about it.
A "golden" lie. Her lies are intentional, and crafted so that she stays beautiful on the surface.
The lyre was shown near the end of my dream, which to me was so that I'd remember it, as a summary of what'd happened.
The lyre was laying straight-on to my view of it. Objectively presented to me straight-on that she is a liar.
Obviously, I'd like her to just stop being friends with us because she's been keeping this up for years. Buuuut she then makes lies about either me or my friend to cause conflict and then alleviate the attention on her.
