My tenant moved in this week. My property manager gave them the key before payment. The property manager and I are friends no LLCs.

My tenant didn’t pay rent. It’s been 2 days. We have a lease signed they put down security deposit.

Can I just change the locks and move the boxes out? What would the consequences be? I don’t think she could afford an attorney to fight me.

Also preparing for the legal eviction route.
