Is there actually a big difference between LSSA and traditional facial liposuction?
I’ve been researching facial slimming procedures lately and keep seeing clinics mention “LSSA” instead of regular facial liposuction.
From what I understand, both are still fat removal procedures, but clinics describe LSSA as being more focused on contour refinement and smoother jawline shaping rather than just aggressively removing fat.
For people who’ve actually had one or consulted about both:
Did surgeons explain a meaningful difference between the two?
Was there any noticeable difference in swelling, recovery, or final results?
And is LSSA genuinely different technology-wise, or mostly branding/marketing?
Especially curious about experiences for jawline/chin fat areas. Thank you.
