tired of risking personal capital every session is propfirms are better ?

Been testing a few prop firms lately after getting tired of risking personal capital every session. Tried demos from FTMO and The5ers before, but recently started spending more time with Okane Funds and honestly I expected it to be another random prop firm with impossible rules or payout issues.

So far though, the experience has been surprisingly smooth. The rules feel realistic, support actually responds, and the scaling structure seems built more for consistent traders instead of gambling-style targets.

Still too early for me to fully judge them, but first impressions have been better than expected. Curious if anyone here has used Okane Funds long term — especially for payouts and scaling compared to FTMO or The5ers?

One of my friends kept talking about this prop firm called Okane Funds for weeks and honestly I thought he was just burning money again.

Every few days there was a new “challenge fee”, new account, new strategy… and I kept telling him these firms always find a reason not to pay traders.

But yesterday he randomly sent me a payout screenshot and I was lowkey shocked because I genuinely expected the usual “account breach” or payout denial story.

Still not saying every prop firm is trustworthy, but seeing an actual payout hit after all those horror stories online kinda changed my perspective a little.

Now I’m wondering if I judged prop firms too quickly or if he just got lucky 😅

Title: Watching my friend trade with prop firms is stressing me out 😭

Not gonna lie… seeing someone risk money on prop firm challenges feels painful to watch sometimes.

My friend has failed multiple accounts before and I honestly thought Okane Funds was just gonna be another expensive lesson for him.

But somehow this dude stayed disciplined for once, passed, and actually got paid this week.

The weirdest part is how calm he was during drawdowns while I was more stressed than him 💀

I still think prop trading is risky as hell, but seeing someone finally make it work after months of failure was actually motivating.

Title: I kept telling him prop firms were fake until this happened

A few months ago my friend started trading forex with Okane Funds and I genuinely thought it was one of those “too good to be true” things.

Every day online you see people complaining about slippage, payout denials, rule traps, etc. so I told him to be careful and not get emotionally attached.

Fast forward to now… he just got his second payout.

What surprised me wasn’t even the money — it was how seriously he started treating risk management once it became funded money instead of demo gambling.

Still skeptical about most firms honestly, but this made me realize discipline

Still skeptical about most firms honestly, but this made me realize discipline probably matters more than the firm itself.

I genuinely wanna know if my friend is smart… or just one payout away from getting cooked 💀

He’s been trading with Okanefunds for the last few months and at first I kept telling him he’s wasting money because let’s be honest… most prop firms either hit you with hidden rules, random violations, payout delays, or suddenly decide your strategy “isn’t allowed” after you finally make profits.

But now this dude keeps posting payout screenshots and funded account updates while I’m sitting here confused af 😭

Part of me still thinks every prop firm is a trap designed to make traders fail challenges over and over. But another part of me is starting to wonder if I judged Okanefunds too fast.

Anyone here actually traded with them long enough to know if they’re legit or if the problems start later on?

Not gonna lie, I’ve been warning my friend for weeks about prop firms because most of them either have hidden rules, payout excuses, or straight up disappear after you finally become profitable.

Now he’s been trading with “OkaneFunds” recently and keeps showing me payouts and funded account updates. At first I honestly thought he was just burning cash on another flashy prop firm with good marketing.

But apparently he already got paid twice and keeps saying their rules are actually transparent compared to a lot of firms out there. Still feels too good to be true in this industry though.

Like real experience — not affiliate promo stuff.

I’m trying to figure out if this is one of the rare legit firms or just another trap waiting for people to pass challenges and get denied later.

Would genuinely appreciate honest reviews before I tell him to keep scaling or run while he still can 💀
