Curious if anyone has dealt with this. My 2021 Mazda CX30 AWD (72,000kms) makes a weird pinging sound when in reverse.
Only happens when in reverse. Does it about 80% of the time. Will make noise when I’m crawling or reversing quickly, so doesn’t seem to matter what speed.
Vehicle doesn’t shake or make weird movement when in reverse.
Also noted that it will make the noise again as a back up….almost feels like it does it again when my tire has made a complete rotation.

I’ve been driving around the city with no music to hear if my vehicle is making any noise and I don’t hear anything bad when driving normally..
