Pink leaves on my blackberry bush

I bought this dwarf blackberry bush and after a few weeks the leaves seem to be turning a pinkish brown color. It seems to be doing well because one side is flowering, but the other side looks like this. They both get pretty equal amounts of sunlight, I have a south facing balcony in the southeastern US.

Any idea what this could be/how to fix it?
