Hi, my first FET just ended in a chemical pregnancy :( I’m devastated. I know this was just our first and it can happen but I never pictured this outcome.
For next steps, my clinic said we can jump right into another FET this month but they want it to be a medicated transfer to control the environment after my chemical. (My first FET was a natural one with just progesterone suppositories).
Alternatively I can wait an additional month and do a natural transfer again BUT the lab closes for a month end of June - July so there’s a chance if my cycle isn’t perfect we miss our window and have to wait until August.
So i guess I’m weighing - would I prefer to do a fully medicated ASAP or be ok taking the risk of waiting 3-4 more months. I know this is a personal decision but i have no experience with a medicated cycle so wanted to get some of your thoughts on it? In the grand scheme of my life, I know a few months is not a big deal but I also want to be pregnant so badly I can’t imagine waiting / not moving forward and the medical feels like we are at least doing SOMETHING.
Any thoughts or advice is greatly appreciated ❤️
