Hey first time posting here and I'm trying to improve my lifestyle.

One big area is diet and eating more variety of plants based foods.

I had a few questions..

1). Do beans and lentils count? And if so does the format I buy them in matter? Like cannned Vs dried?

  1. similarly with fruits and nuts, can I have dried fruits or nut butters (assuming upf free and no additives)

  2. no one talks about quantity, just variety, but I assume more is better? Is there any guidance on quantity that is enough to constitute a portion?

  3. what about whole grains like oats or wholewheat bread?

I did track my macros and surprisingly I do get about 30g to 35g of fibre a day mostly through whole grains and nut butters.

Thank you for any advice in advance
