Is is just me that feels this way?
Hi! I might get cancelled for saying this but…
I DON’T CARE. I don’t care if I have a push to do but I get pulled for ff, back up for check-lanes or even drive up. I am the only TM in my store who is cross trained for every single department. As a matter of fact, I love working for other departments. I don’t care if I don’t finish my “task of the day” because I was pulled but I strike back at any moment these bitches show me a smirk or even try to make a passive aggressive comment about me not finishing my tasks, I simply point out that I was <pulled>.
I have been working at target for a year and a half now, and let me tell you this- I DON’T CARE ABOUT PAYROLL! I DON’T CARE IF PAYROLL IS CUT! I don’t give a damn. I know I will be scheduled for 25 hours but will still end up with 39.5 every single week for the last whole year because people keep calling out.
I throw the fakest smile at guests and still won’t care. This company doesn’t not care about me or my mental health for me to stress about anything Target related.
I know I am privileged because this is my first job and that I don’t pay any bills due to me living with my parents and being young and having so much energy because I have no one that depended on me. But, I work at target everyday from 5 AM till 5 p.m max because I have another job, because I want to save as much as money as I can, but I really don’t care about Target, I don’t care about the push, the pulls, the re-shop or even zoning. I simply don’t care.
This is probably a big rant for a person who doesn’t care, but here we are :)
