My landlord makes my girlfriend and I burgers multiple times a year. Just hits us up out the blue asking if we would like some. Sometimes he treats us with wine, brewski’s, and even expensive whiskey. Sometimes pizza. Even pets sits for us for free.

I think we’ve struck gold. I hear some of the horror stories of what a lot of renters go through in Santa Cruz. Never want to move.
