Not impressed, I’ve just been taking the default model as Claude code updated and assumed opus plan had been removed. Switching back tomorrow as the discipline of planning with opus and executing with Sonnet helps to focus what’s being worked on.

Been lazy with 1m context and wondering why 300k tokens are gone for a simple feature and half a dozen unit tests. Especially painful over slow internet throwing the bloated context around.

p.s. Anthropic docs are actually pretty good and a lot more in depth than 2025.
