PSU recommendation for RX 7700 XT build (650W vs 750W confusion)
I’m upgrading a PC with the RX 7700 XT and I’m a bit confused about PSU choice.
My current plan:
- GPU: RX 7700 XT
- CPU: (planning Ryzen 7 5700X / 5700X3D later)
- Case: Ant Esports ICE 130
- Typical usage: gaming + light editing + maybe some AI/ML work later
I’m considering these PSU options:
- Deepcool PN650D (650W Gold)
- Deepcool PN750D (750W Gold)
- MSI A750BN (750W Bronze)
- Some other 750W Gold units
The price difference between 650W and 750W is around ₹1000–₹1500 for me.
My questions:
- Is 650W enough for RX 7700 XT + future 5700X/5700X3D upgrade?
- Or should I just go for 750W for future-proofing?
- Is Bronze 750W okay or should I stick to Gold only?
- any recommendations will be helpful
I’m mainly looking for best value + long-term safe build (not overkill).
