my skin is at its worst.
growing up skin care hasn’t ever been an issue for me, any time it would get bad it would go away without issue. the biggest problem i’d have would’ve been pimples. and my eye bags from lack of sleep. it wasn’t all perfect but it was almost perfect.
however i fucked up heavily one day in december of 2025 and i accidentally got very heavy soap on my face (african soap alaffia to be exact) and since then my skin barrier has been at its worst. every week it’s a pimple, a flare up, my face feels itchy at times, a bump with fluids popping out, acne scars that just don’t go away, red spots, flaky.
i’ve done everything and i feel so defeated. i’ve been using panoxyl acne creamy wash for a while and sometimes i see results; but then something happens and my skin goes crazy. I put sunscreen on my face along with moisturizer and aquaphor, and still nothing. it’s just so bad.
this has been going on since december, it’s may now. i don’t know what to do.
i’ve had oily skin but even back then acne wasn’t an issue i would be fine with it, but my skin has always been so sensitive. back then all i would need was to splash water on my face, slap some moisturizer and go on with my day.
please help im so desperate atp
