Next year, I will be attending community college for a year with a scholarship to complete some courses for my major. Unfortunately, this college has no ensembles to participate in.

I am trying to keep up with playing, as the university I am transfer to after this next year has a very good band program that I would like to audition for.

Any tips to keep up on playing? When the next round of high school etudes comes out, I’m going to learn those, and I would like to do weekly practice sessions just to keep refreshed on my skills.

I also am trying to keep up on my bari and tenor playing but that’s significantly harder, as I only have an old Cannonball alto. I’m not quite sure how to go about that.
