My wife and I just took up LVP flooring that the house flippers had installed directly onto the concrete slab. There is some crazy mole and fungal growth on almost every single piece of LVP and also essentially stamped into the concrete slab.
Here’s what we have done so far…angle scrubbed all mold off the concrete and used air particle scrubber and HEPA vacuum. Treated the mold, and removed all baseboards along with the LVP.
Looking for advice for additional remediation and also for what to do next in terms of water proofing / vapor barrier on the floors. Do the vapor barriers impact self level concrete?
And then lastly, we are now thinking of staying away from an LVP and moving to tile. Looking for advice on that as well. Urgent help needed please!
