Pele Kaboom

Bought my soccer-loving kids a big box of cards from Costco for fun. Didn‘t realize there were actually good cards in them (we always just buy cards for them to play with); I assumed it was a box of all the players in the World Cup that they could trade and make teams of. My 4-year-old pulled this one in his pack and I just assumed it was another fun one since it looks different from the rest. Apparently not. Glad I separated it and called my brother, who knows cards 😳

Chronically constipated cat on liveclear

we switched to 75% purina liveclear, 25% wet food when a family member with cat allergies moved in. We have been to the vet for this problem and there are no *underlying* issues

Our cat with diabetes went into remission on this new food plan. HURRAY.

But, our fat cat (yes, our fat cat is not the one that got diabetes) is now chronically constipated. He’s had issues with constipation before and I’ve been giving him lactulose, per the vet’s instructions. But he has been pooping and peeing outside of the litter box for days. The other day I put him in his litter box, nothing, less than a minute later, he was pooping on the floor in front of me.

What can I do? Will adding water to his dry food lower the efficiency of the liveclear? he already drinks a ton of water. Should we switch to full wet food and thus making our home not friendly for those with cat allergies?

I‘m exhausted from cleaning up cat pee and poop every day. My husband is angry and wants the cats gone.

For reference, two male cats, fixed, 10.5 years old. They never sprayed or peed outside the litter box until one was attacked by a neighborhood cat in our fenced-in backyard about 5 years ago. Now, they spray all over my house, in addition to the one who straight up pees and poops in inappropriate places
