My friend recently got a microneedling treatment at Precise Beauty Bay and I thought I’d share the basic instructions they were given since it might help others.
Before the treatment, they were told to avoid actives like retinol or acids, no sun exposure, and keep skin calm and hydrated.
After, it was mostly about healing. No makeup for 24 hours, gentle cleanser only, no harsh products, and definitely no touching the face too much. Skin was red for a day or two. Sunscreen was super important, and they had to avoid sweating, gym, or heat for a couple of days.
Nothing complicated, just consistency and patience. Seems like aftercare really matters as much as the treatment itself.
Anyone else had a similar experience?
