I’ve posted before I have been suffering fairly bad insomnia for the past 6 weeks now. I’ve always been a decent sleeper but the past few weeks have gone from bad to worse. I haven’t slept even 4 hours straight since March. It’s been 1-2 hour intervals mostly, sometimes 3. The past two nights it’s been every 20-30-60 minutes!! I’ve had two nights (split up) where I haven’t slept even seen every half hour on the clock. I had blood tests that came back fine for all my body functioning. liver, kidney, blood sugar, cholesterol all fine. But when I told my GP about my sleep problems she said I was too young for perimenopause. I’m nearly 43! So next week I have a blood test to check my hormone and thyroid levels and then hopefully I can get put on HRT and this nightmare can end. I’m not sure how much longer I can take all this broken sleep.

please tell me I’m not alone. Frustrated woman in the UK.
