Hello, looking for recommendations on where to have a birthday gathering. Ideally somewhere we could have a BBQ, shaded seating, maybe a playground near for kids, and space for various activities like soccer volleyball etc. Holmes had potential but pretty crowded and doesn’t seem to be any grills. Any other good options anywhere in Lincoln?? Thank you

Does anyone know if you can grill/have some beers at Holmes lake? Was thinking about having a little picnic and sand volleyball, but I’m unclear if I can just roll up and do this anytime or if things need to be reserved, and how stingy the park would be about alcoholic beverages.
