I was genuinely shocked when I heard John Carlson was traded for a 1st round pick at the trade deadline.
No doubt an amazing addition to the blue line to not only score some PP goals and help on PK but also provide leadership to the Ducks young D that will be an awesome ROI for years to come.
I was thinking that if the Ducks got bounced in round 1, he may not resign and go back to the Caps and that would have been a waste of a 1st round pick.
Now that the Ducks are in round 2, do you all think he’s a lock to resign for another 1-2 years? Yes, no, why?
Still hoping we see more of his booming slap-shot!
