Homebrew story, the world comes from the book series Songs of Chaos, set two years before Holt is born. The world is suffering from extreme plague and monsters on all territories, forcing the few survivors to shelter in major cities as they prepare for final onslaughts by undead and insectoid monsters. (In 2-3 months when this short campaign is over we will return to 18 years later in timeline with level 14 dual class characters / dragon riders)
