I am in Scotland. Just moved into new apartment and set up myself with all the energy suppliers. There was a period where this apartment was empty before I moved in. When I viewed it, it already did not have occupants in.

I received bill, that is addressed to occupier. I assume the bill needs to be paid by landlord. Its dated on the day I got keys. Do I need to inform the landlord ? Or contact this energy supplier? I set up my accounts with different one.
