i have been learning ai automation since the last 2 months , made a lot of progress in my work . two weeks ago when codex was launched everyone on the social media started saying that ai automation is dead and codex will replace every single ai automator . this is not something new and i am sure many of us have experienced this is last 4 years from the launching of chat gpt to now codex every time some new feature in AI is launched this fake hype is promoted from every single platform you can list of with maximum people not knowing anything about those features . we are all familiar with what they said when ai became capable to make websites, or when it became able to write code like a junior engineer . they said that web designers are dead , app developers are dead what happens after sometime is that the people who produce the maximum output from these features are the professional ones who know about the field in detail not a guy doing vibe coding in his room . This has obvious for me now that the people who know about the field will always be needed what ai will change is output percentage a we can get in same time . in the case of codex it will also eventually become clear that the people who will be making maximum use of it will be the ones who know ai automation in detail , the ones who know what the customer demands what works the best not some random person who woke up one day and started creating ai agents with codex or other tools. these tools are helping great professionals maximize their output and returns in lesser time not replacing them
