Can anyone tell me whether it’s common to have the below feel when driving the mazda 3 2.0L Evo Automatic?

Note: I’m in Melbourne.

1. Having a “big drag”when the gear shift down from 3 to 2 then to 1? Speed drops quite quickly because of this.
2. Breaks feels different every day (significant difference can be felt on colder days or randomly halfway through a drive). Sometimes it’s a smooth breaking experience, sometimes a strong break even with the slightest touch to the break. And sometimes I starts off smooth, then suddenly becomes very sensitive.

Is anyone getting this and how to fix?
