I am a PCB student who just finished 12th, recently appeared for NEET, but the exam did not go as planned. At this point, I have decided that I do not want to take a drop year specifically for NEET. However, I also did not register for CUET earlier because I was unsure about my options and lacked proper guidance.

Now I am actively exploring alternative academic paths, especially top-tier courses and career fields. One option that has caught my attention is BA Economics (Hons). The problem is that I come from a pure science background, so I do not have any foundation in economics, finance, or mathematics beyond basic school-level concepts.

I am feeling quite confused and uncertain about what the right step would be. Should I take a year off to prepare for CUET and build the required foundation, or should I explore other options instead?

I would genuinely appreciate guidance from people who have been in a similar situation or have knowledge about this transition. At the moment, I feel lost and would really value serious advice
