I'm processing hundreds of photos of different of plated foods. The plate is not placed exactly the same place in each photo.
I need the plate to be centered in each final image - with the same canvas size, 2500 x 2000 pixels. However, when I record an action, and as part of a this change the canvas size, the action "ignores" my canvas settings when being used on other images.

Currently my action is: select object --> expand selection with 200 px --> crop (to selection) --> canvas size --> save

I know I can manually insert the dimensions for the canvas size each time, but I'd prefer it done automatically 😄
Automate --> Fit image is not a solution as the ratio of every cropped image is not the same.
