Hi, I am waiting for my study permit process however today the IRCC have asked for additional documents in regards to travel consent from the other parent of both my children. I am the sole parent on my one child's birth certificate and I have a court order granting me consent to remove my other child from our home country for the duration of my studies as we have had no contact with the father for other 5 years so I had to go to court. My lawyer has suggested writing a letter of explanation plus supporting documents which I have but to be aware this is not what the IRCC have requested. I'm not able to get a consent as there's no one to get consent from for my eldest and my youngest I have a court order. Will this be enough? Just a little worried this will cause me issues!
