Study permit extension

Hi everyone, I hope you are doing well. I need some guidance regarding my study permit extension.
My current study permit is valid until July 30, 2026, but I only have one course left to complete my program. I will be taking that course in the Summer semester, and the semester ends on August 20, 2026.
I already paid the tuition fees for the course, and my college international student advisor told me that since the fees are already paid and it's only a short extension (around 2 months), I may not need to show additional proof of funds for the extension application.
Has anyone been in a similar situation before?
Did you still show bank statements/funds, or was the paid fee receipt and enrollment enough?
Also, how long did your extension take to get approved?

Work hour limit

I’m an international student in Canada working part-time. Last week I worked 24 hours, but I forgot to punch in for those shifts, so those hours won’t appear on that pay cycle.

This week I’m scheduled for 24 hours, and next week also 24 hours. My manager said the missed 24 hours from the previous week may be added to my next paycheck through payroll adjustment/retro pay.

Now I’m worried because the next pay slip may look like I got paid for 72 hours total in one pay cycle. Even though I actually worked 24 hours per week separately and did not exceed the weekly limit.

Could this create any issue for me in future PGWP/work permit/study permit applications as an international student? Has anyone dealt with missed punches/retro pay before?
