Possible SL buff from 11th rules changes?
Looking at how the change to cover will be (-1 to ballistic skill) , stacking that with a flux masters -1 to hit would be making MOST elite armies hitting on 5s. Bringing a daemons prince without wings to ensure the frontline always has it isn’t even a hard thing to do sense he has a pretty good melee profile to heroic engage with or even counter charge and epic challenge.
While pinks/blues arnt the most threatening thing, forcing them to be slogged through with the new engagement rules and making them an ever bigger menace to shoot seems like almost the biggest buff so far.
Custodes only hitting on 4s
Marines on 5s
Orks on 6s
Tau on 4-5s
That’s almost a 30-50% damage mitigation of shooting armies before wounds and 4++ saves. Obviously some army’s have re-rolls , but even then it’s absurd.
Anyone else find anything like this ? Think it’s gonna get patched out ?
