I’m a Protestant and go to a non denominational church and I was thinking of converting into Catholicism.. However I’m discouraged because my parents will not appreciate it. They think that Catholics worship Mary and aren’t real Christian. I do not believe this though. My family used to be catholic but now we are Protestant. Ive adored Catholicism because it has a complex worship and it was the first ever form of Christianity. What can I do guys?

Also I don’t think other denominations are not true, I just feel like Catholicism is the best one for me.
