Looking for a Gaming YouTube Editor (Trial Run – 2-3 Videos First)

Hey everyone, I’m a small creator currently restructuring my content. My main YouTube channel, “The Backwards Traveller,” is shifting more toward real-life/challenge-style content, and I’m starting a separate gaming-focused channel.

Right now I’m looking for an editor to work with on a short trial basis first (around 2–3 videos) to see if our styles match and if editing actually improves the content enough to justify long-term investment.

Content Style:

Gaming videos

Funny moments / personality-focused

Potentially challenge or progression-style content

Looking for faster pacing, good comedic timing, subtitles, zooms, sound effects, memes when appropriate, etc.

I want the videos to feel entertaining without becoming completely overstimulating

What I’m Looking For:

Someone comfortable editing gaming content

Good pacing and retention-focused editing

Open communication

Ability to match/improve the vibe of the video instead of just cutting footage together

Thumbnail experience is a big plus — I’d really appreciate someone who can also make strong clickable thumbnails or at least help with thumbnail concepts/designs

Trial Details:

Starting with 2–3 videos

Probably weekly uploads at first

Open to discussing pricing per video or packages

If things work well, this could become long-term

About Me

I’m still growing as a creator and figuring things out, but I’m consistent and serious about improving. I’d rather be upfront about that than pretend I’m a huge channel already.

Budget: Around ($30–$150+ per video) depending on editing complexity, experience, thumbnails included, and video length.
