so, i got my food stamps approved. thank god, because we were really struggling, along with WIC and going to food distributions have been helpful. it’s been 6 months of us being on our own since the father has gone to jail and im going a bit insane if not burnt out. my question is for calworks or TANF if anyone here can help us out. ive been looking to see what the requirements entail and have come across different website saying different things… for example, in contra costa county the website the info presented is not as current as what ive come across in Santa Clara county. my question is it the same amount for both counties that is given if you don’t have any deductions?? sorry if the question is unclear but I am trying to figure out and project for a future budgeting reference since im going insane doing this on my own— and wondering if bailing out the father at 12k would be worth it or not.
