Hi all, I am currently unemployed and job searching in the public health field. I have worked in the service industry for around 8 years, and I have a psychology degree from UW Madison. My resume is kind of all over with a lot of small nonprofit positions as well. I understand that I have very little experience in the health care/public health field, so I am applying to a lot of Patient Representative or Care Coordinator jobs just to get my foot in the door. I am having such a hard time with rejections and the whole process. I am also looking to move out of state, I know this makes my search harder but it's a non-negotiable for me and I have been using my close friends local address on my applications. I feel so frustrated because I think I am a hard worker who is eager to learn, and my customer service experience has given me a lot of skills that would apply in these patient facing roles, but I'm still getting rejections. Any recommendations?
