Question from an uneducated fan of the oilers. I think I played goalie maybe 10 times in my life, last time at 14 years old lol.

Anyways, I was curious what people who know the game think of Jarry. To my untrained eyes, he's one of the strangest I've ever seen.

He makes incredible saves all the time, but so often his head is on a swivel, seemingly unable to track the puck. Every other game he played this season seemed to start by letting in 3 weak goals, then turning into a superstar for most of the rest of the game. He'll look like two different people in the same game.

I guess as another general question, why are some super talented goalies strangely inconsistent, like Hellebuyck or Stolarz? Thanks!

As a leafs fan, it's pretty much impossible to find a sober conversation anywhere about this team. We're all too invested.

I never paid attention to the Coyotes when I was younger and heard of Chayka for the first time 2 weeks ago. I know that he got in lots of trouble, but that the ownership also made that job near impossible for anyone.

What do people think about him? What's the optimistic (but not delusional) view of this hire, and what do you think the biggest risks are here?

Would also love to here from some Coyotes fans on how he did as GM, and basically how much of their struggles were his fault. (PS I feel for Phoenix; relocation is always a sad day in the world)

In any case, I really hope he does well, GO LEAFS!
