Hi I have a house that is aluminum wire and would like to have it rewired to today’s standards as well as a few modifications added in. I have a few questions on where to start.
1- where do I start?
2- who do I contact or need to start this project?
3- who is responsible for the permits?
4- are there any grants/programs to help with cost?
5- is it logical to rewire the house or just add on?
6- estimated costs? (I’m expecting a large bill)
Additional question if I want to do a kitchen remodel as well should I look for a general contractor to handle everything?
