I currently have the C1 Quicksilver as my only credit card, and have been looking into adding another card and upgrading my setup overall. I have been looking at the C1 savor to get 3% on groceries, dining, and entertainment, and then looking at either the C1 Venture or the Fidelity Visa as a 2% back card to cover everything else. I know the venture and fidelity are different cards with different benefits, so I'm just trying to weigh the travel benefits/points/larger sign up bonus of the Venture against the simplicity of Fidelity Visa and depositing the 2% into my existing fidelity accounts.

  1. I know it's difficult to compare Venture against Fidelity cards, but any insight between the two would be helpful. I'm typically a pretty budget traveler, so I'm not sure if C1 is as helpful if I'm not using the types of hotels it has available and am bargain hunting for the cheapest flights possible.

  2. I am trying to figure out if I should upgrade my Quicksilver to the Savor, or if I should apply for the savor separately? Applying to get the $200 sign up bonus is appealing, but I'm not sure if it's better to just upgrade my card if I'm trying to apply for another card in the same time frame since the upgrade won't affect my credit?

Current FICO credit score is 787.

Thanks in advance!
