I’m actually now thinking is there something wrong with my baby? She’s 15 weeks and essentially if she isn’t held whilst your standing, and she’s facing outwards, she cries. I went to a family get together and my sister in law and her baby looked so chill. He was sitting on her lap whilst she bounced him on her knee, I could NEVER. And! That baby is a month younger than her. I’ve ordered an allergy test kit incase it’s something like that, is anyone else’s baby like this? Have I done something wrong? Even the NCT mums babies are all chill; and mine just cries every time we meet for a walk or something.

I’m preparing to sleep train baby when she’s 4 months, although perhaps I may do it slightly later than that but depends on how it’s all going then. I need to make some adjustments before then so im hoping for some help on scheduling and other questions.
Baby is currently 15 weeks and EBF, her current schedule is 2/2/2/2, bedtime at 7pm, wake time at 7am. She usually wakes around 2/3am for a feed and falls asleep on boob and back into bassinet, and again at 530/6am after which I have to contact sleep her to get to 7am. Nap 1 =45 mins, nap 2 is meant to be 2hrs but she wakes after 45mins and I have to rescue it with a contact nap for the rest, nap 3= 45 mins. She does not fall asleep independently, is rocked and shushes to sleep which is taking an increasingly longer amount of time.
So, my questions;
I know I need more awake time, but what would that look like for a 4 month old if I wanted to keep it to a 3 nap system? Is 12 hours at night unrealistic
when do you then have to adjust it again? And When do you then drop to two naps?
When you do sleep training (either 3/3/3 or Ferber, currently deciding which) do you apply it to naps as well immediately, or do you tackle night sleep first and then after that naps?
nap 3 she is almost impossible to get to sleep in her bed; so usually I baby wear her. This is unsustainable as she’s getting bigger (my back hurts!) is there any hope that she could sleep in her bed for all naps?
she uses a dummy only for nap time; do we go cold turkey when doing sleep training? We would like to remove it from her at some point.
Thank you so much for any and all help!!!
