Hello all. I was wondering how some people have fading DRLs when they unlock their cars. As I notice on my XC90 they just turn on. Which looks tacky imo. The video attached shows what I mean on someone on tiktoks car. Is this just a facelift thing or am I missing something?

Battery is dying nightly. R230 SL. I'm not too sure what to say about it really so feel free to ask questions.
