so I have a sedan I’m looking to sell but here’s the problem.. my step dad at the time had gifted my mom a car but his name was on the title. He was very abusive and took us to court to get us thrown on the streets with nothing but the car. We’re doing much better now and have gotten new cars since but we want to sell the sedan that was gifted to us since it is just a reminder of our past n what he has done to us, I don’t want to have any contact with him whatsoever in order to get the title so what steps would I need to take to sell this car without having the title and having any complications further down the road? I did a little research and saw that I would need a bill of sale and a bonded title. I’m not sure if I would NEED both or just one but any information helps. I live in pierce county also.
