I genuinely feel like for $2600 a month (considering you retire e6 at 20yrs) you would be much better off just doing 3 years and getting a VA rating that would pay roughly the same amount anyway and still have your whole life ahead of you. Selling your soul to the big green weenie for 1/3 of your life just for tricare doesn’t seem like the move. For yall who did retire as enlisted what got you through it? Was it worth it in hindsight?
