How Long Can You Actually Hold The State Before You Switch Back?
The reason some people manifest faster than others has less to do with “talent” and more to do with how long they can hold the new state without collapsing back into the old one. Most people touch the state for a few minutes and then spend the rest of the day reacting to reality like the old version of themselves again. They’ll feel wealthy during SATS and broke when they check their bank account an hour later. They’ll feel loved while affirming and unwanted the second someone doesn’t text back fast enough. That constant switching is what slows everything down. Holding the state doesn’t mean pretending 24/7 or forcing fake positivity. It’s more about refusing to emotionally move every time the 3D tests you. The version of you who already has what you want would not be panicking, chasing, checking, or asking if it’s working every five minutes. They’d feel settled. Natural. Calm about it. That’s why Abdullah was able to shut the door on Neville when he kept bringing up the old story. He understood that once you decide, constantly revisiting doubt only pulls you back into the old identity. The biggest shifts in my own life started happening when I stopped treating manifestation like a technique and started treating it like a decision I no longer argued with. Everything changed after that. I told someone today to stop identifying as a person who doesn't have what they want in their reality if you want your reality to change. Curious if anyone else noticed reality moves faster once you stop emotionally switching back and forth all day.
Maybe This Is Why Nothing Has Shifted Yet
I honestly think one of the biggest reasons people struggle with the Law is because they keep emotionally going back to the version of themselves that doesn’t have what they want yet. They’ll affirm, visualize, do SATS, feel good for a little while, and then immediately start checking the 3D again, worrying about timing, looking for movement, stalking social media, asking where it is, and spiraling the second reality doesn’t instantly match what they imagined. Abdullah understood this perfectly when Neville kept talking about wanting to go to Barbados and Abdullah basically told him to stop discussing it because in his mind Neville was already there. Most people think manifestation is about techniques when it’s really about identity and what feels natural to you throughout the day. The version of you who already has the relationship, money, success, or life you want is not constantly wondering if it’s coming. They’re living from the feeling that it’s already handled. That’s the shift. Once I stopped obsessing over proof and stopped reopening the case every five minutes, things started showing up much faster and in ways that honestly felt surreal at times. Curious what pulls you back into the old state the fastest because that’s usually the exact area you still don’t fully trust yet. 👋 Welcome to r/NevilleGoddardSOA - Introduce Yourself and Read First!
Hey everyone, I’m u/NevilleGoddardSOA. Welcome to r/NevilleGoddardSOA. This is where we actually live the Law of Assumption and have fun with it while we do it. We’re not here to make this rigid or overcomplicated. This is about stepping into the version of you who already has it, enjoying that state, and watching your reality catch up in real time. Whether you’re manifesting for yourself or for others, this is a place to apply, experiment, and see what really works.
Post what you’re working on, what you’re manifesting, what’s clicking, and where you feel stuck. Share your wins, your shifts, and your real experiences. Even the small changes matter because that’s where everything starts to move. Ask questions, but come ready to actually test things out and stay in it. This is a community built on doing, not just talking.
The vibe here is positive, focused, and real. We support each other, we challenge each other, and we keep it fun. No drama, no negativity, no personal attacks. We’re here to grow and to help each other get results.
I’m always here to help inside this community and I’ll share anything that I know will move you forward. At the same time, I do work with people one-on-one, but I keep that very limited. Going deep into someone’s situation and helping them shift their identity and reality takes real focus and energy, and I only take on people who are serious and ready for that level of change. The work we do there is not surface level. It’s transformative. If you decide to go that route, just understand you’re stepping into something much deeper and more intentional.
For now, start here. Introduce yourself, share what you’re manifesting, and post something today. If you know someone who would actually enjoy this and take it seriously, invite them in. You’re here for a reason, so let’s use it and make it real. I love and appreciate you all. 🙏
I posted something similar in another Neville group and it got torn apart. People said it sounded like AI or BS, and some of the replies went way left with disrespect. I’m not here to argue with anyone. I’m just sharing what I’ve actually experienced, and you can take it or leave it. If you’ve read Neville, you’ve probably come across what he describes as hearing someone tell you your desire is already fulfilled, like you’re on a phone call with them. The key is that it feels natural, not forced or scripted. I tried this with a friend of mine who was trying to land a new job. Instead of overcomplicating it, I imagined him calling me and saying something simple like, “I just got off the call with X company. They offered me the $250k, and I’ll have the freedom to build out my projects.” I didn’t try to make it dramatic. It sounded like how he would normally talk. I heard it once or twice, it felt done, and then I went about my day without checking or overthinking it. Not long after, he actually called me and said almost the exact same thing, in the same tone, with the same outcome. That was the part that really stuck with me. Since then, I’ve applied this a few more times, and the only pattern I’ve noticed is that it works when you don’t keep going back and forth mentally. You hear it, accept it, and stay in that state instead of reacting every time something looks off. I’m not saying this as someone who has all the answers, and I’m not trying to sell anything here. I know some people like to work through this one-on-one, and that’s fine, but most people don’t need that if they’re disciplined enough to apply it themselves. I’m only interested in working with people who are serious about actually changing their lives, not arguing online. I’m sharing this because I see a lot of people doing the techniques and then undoing it by doubting or constantly checking. If you’ve tried this before, I’m curious what your experience has been.
