Dyanavel and Perigon Pharmacy
Is anyone using the Dyanavel Delivers program that Tris Pharma contracts with for their financial incentive programs?
I switched from Adderall to Dyanavel due to Adderall causing severe anxiety, a new side effect after nearly 25 years of daily use.
I was told to expect a call on day 21 of my prescription cycle for a refill reminder. I did not get one. As instructed, I followed up with them since I did not get a reminder.
When I reached out, I was told I needed to call my provider. I reached out and she scripted it. She had only filed one month’s prescription in case we needed dose adjustments.
It took two days for Perigon to say that she had the wrong fill date. She did not. She used the same fill date as she would have if it was sent to the damn CVS. They did not onboard her correctly.
They also wasted a day asking me if it was “okay” to deliver via USPS. I confirmed it 4 times.
Perigon has switched from FedEx to USPS. USPS will attempt to deliver to patients’ homes (during the work day) to get a signature. From there, if you’re unavailable to sign, it will be delivered to the post office for pickup. In my neighborhood, this is the equivalent of postal limbo. You’ll have to pick it up from the post office in your neighborhood (in my case 35 minutes from work) between 8:30 am and 5 pm M-F, and perhaps a small window on Saturday mornings. I do not live in a world where this will work for me.
Perigon is supposed to take calls from 9-6 eastern. They do not take calls after 4 eastern. They stop responding to texts after around 4 eastern. I’m in the Midwest, so that only gives me until around 3 central time daily.
When they used FedEx, it was sent to a pickup center or you had the option for home delivery. FedEx stores are open much longer than the post office.
I’m traveling next week. I will run out of medication today in about 30 mins when I take my dose. Because of these failures by Perigon, my prescription will attempt to be delivered on Monday while no one is home. I’ll need to find time to go to the post office and hope it is actually there (note: I’m in healthcare and will be in a 7a-7p shift so on Tuesday, so I won’t be able to pick it up) and I leave town on some really unfortunate family business at 4 am Wed and won’t return until a week later. Since I won’t be able to pick up during the 5 day holding period, it will be sent back.
I’ll have to get new prescriptions issued, and their failure means I will go 2 weeks with no medication, if I’m lucky. I can barely drive unmedicated. I totaled 5 of my cars in my 20s back in the day when you turned 18 and were expected to suddenly be healed as an adult, and it wasn’t prescribed to adults frequently back then. After the 5th totaled car in 7 years, I went back on meds and have only had one minor accident since then, and it wasn’t my fault.
I’m literally fucked because of this place. Zero understanding, zero sympathy, no alternatives. They failed.
