Hello everyone!

I recently bought this Coutinho jersey for 4 euros as a little restoration project. I bought it in this condition, with only this foil/vinyl layer remaining from the old nameset.

I wanted to remove the rest safely, but I’m having difficulties with it.

The yellow top layer is already gone, but there still seems to be a foil-like layer left on the shirt.

I already tried isopropyl alcohol and also heat it with an iron, but neither really worked. The alcohol mostly just made it feel drier.

Does anyone know a safe way to remove this without damaging the jersey?

The jersey itself is original, only the print was not.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)
