I'm on my first honor mode run and so far, it's been pretty smooth so far. My only real close call was I got a bit over confident and fought the Owlbear mama, forgetting that she calls for papa Owlbear... but I barely managed to kill them and still adopt the cub. I also tried to make the deal with the Duegar to help me with Nere. Unfortunately, my explosion got a bit close and damaged someone, so they all attacked me at once. But that wasn't hard and I saved all the Ironhand Gnomes. I'm now staring down at the Adamantine Forge and wondering if I do this the easy way, the hard way, or skip it entirely.
I've always fought Grym by giving Lae'zel and Karlach blunt weapons and beating him to death without using the Forge Hammer. Sometimes I get it on the first try, sometimes it takes 2-3 attempts. My last run was easy because my Tav was an OH Monk. This time, I'm playing as a Hexblade. I'm wondering if I have fun and try the Owlbear from the top rope (I've always wanted to try it), risk it with blunt weapon smackdown, or just not even take the risk. I'm at level 6. How did you fight him? How did it go?
Current team: Hexblade, Throwzerker Karlach, Goomstalker 5/Rogue 1 Astarion, Light Domain Shart, BM Lae'zel, Evocation Gale, Wyll is... just chilling. I'm thinking of hiring a Monk if I do attempt this without cheese strats.
