Considering buying a 2003 HD fatboy (private sale) with less than 10K miles on it. Owner says it was “garage kept” and it appears to be in pristine condition so I actually kinda believe him. The license plate still has tags from 2021 though so I figure it hasn’t been seriously ridden since then.
Any advice? I figure a new battery and probably an oil change is a given, but I’m wondering if there is anything else I should have checked after a bike has been sitting for 5 years - or if you guys think it’s probably fine.
