As the title suggests, I'm from new zealand but want to launch my corp in the UAE for seed, series a & basically for going zero to one due to the governments support + regulations favorably towards futuristic construction, especially this being at the intersection of humanoid robotics & construction engineering - the actual startup's technology itself will be something that creates an entirely new category & has not been seen or done before.

I need advice or tips or pointed in the right direction of how to speak to investors or how venture capital works in the UAE, do angel investors exist there? do VC firms operate there like they do in the US or the western countries?

Thanks.

Just curious, what do you classify as generality and how exactly will scaling VLMs or whichever type of machine learning model will lead to that said generality you just defined, how do you measure this and what proof is there that this will work? It's been almost a decade with optimus. Thanks.

I'm working on a startup at the intersection of humanoid robotics & construction engineering and have theorized multiple engineering breakthroughs - super early, have the full thesis and have begun engineering now, looking to raise pre seed due to potential computing costs but just want to start chatting first.

The idea itself, short answer (end result): turning residential & commercial infrastructure into a manufacturing tech product, like a tesla or an iphone while or by revolutionizing humanoid robotics - this is building the future, literally, there is zero competition due to this being an entirely new category within civilization, going after a $300T+ USD market.
