Hello Everyone! I wanted to share an event my dojo (Mountain Martial Arts) is hosting. Sensei Masaji Tira is traveling from japan to New Jersey in June for his yearly US Gasshuku. He's a 9th Dan who trained under Eiichi Miyazato (One of Chōjun Miyagi's Senior Students), and he's made his mark on the karate world through his unique Bunkai.
This seminar usually brings martial artists from all of US and Overseas. Last year we were privileged to host high ranking members from Spain, Australia, England, Canada, and more! It was genuinely such a new experience to work with so many people across the world.
The Seminar typically opens up with a run of all the Goju Katas with comments from the senseis, a series of partner drill to warm up, then go through various bunkai applications from the katas.
