I'm most likely moving to Germany for this upcoming winter semester (October) to start a graduate program. I'd like to bring my cat with me, but I'd like some advice as to finding housing that would accept him. In your experience do dorms/student apartments allow pets? What is it like trying to find an apartment or room that allows cats? I'm still fielding acceptances, so I don't know what city I'll be in, but it could be Freiburg, Konstanz, Potsdam or Damstadt. Any help is appreciated.
